Nathe Lawver moved to the South Puget Sound in 1994 to attend Pacific Lutheran University where he earned his BA in history with a minor in music. His career has taken him from the state capitol to retail stores, and finally into the labor movement giving him the ability to follow his passion to make the lives of people better.  He serves the 7000 hard working women and men of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 367 as the Communications Director.   Immediately prior to that, he was the Pierce County Labor Liaison between the United Way and the affiliates of the Pierce County Central Labor Council.  

He lives in Tacoma’s North End with his wife, Alicia, three children, five chickens and two puppies.  He spends his free time cooking, running, and making sweet dad jokes.
