Dan has been with United Way of Pierce County (UWPC) since 1997. As IT Director Dan has moved UWPC from dial-up internet and mainframe computing to the current use of high-speed internet, Microsoft 365, and remote working. Prior to United Way, Dan worked as an accountant & system administrator with Lincoln Snacks in Lincoln, Nebraska in food manufacturing making Poppycock & Fiddle Faddle.
Dan graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1989 with a degree in Finance. Being a proud Cornhusker, he believes that this is the year they will win the National Championship.
Dan serves on numerous national committees in the United Way system. His local volunteer service includes serving on several local non-profit boards.
In his spare time Dan enjoys singing in the Possible Solutions, traveling, gardening and Husker Football.
